Every elder looks at the young and shakes their head. Every youngster looks at the elderly and shakes their head. Few look at themselves and shake their head.
Bitter age gives way to glory, but we live in this present bitter age and it has tainted me, and probably you too.
I went back and listened to a band that I used to idolize in high school. This inspired me to write this poem making clear references to that band.
Have you ever felt fake? Have you consistently felt like your profession of faith was not genuine? Have you ever examined yourself to see if you're in the faith? Should you maybe consider doing that?
