Come and see a son of man climbing a mountain
Next to him is his father counting all steps
Each second with his beloved son is counted
As he is crushed under the weight of what lies next
The uncertainty of the inevitable to him a puzzle
Still not with God, but with self is the wrestle
Father, we have all the means except the main
How will we fulfill this task if not in vain?
See loving son asking his father a question
Faithfully trusting in his father’s wisdom of action
The piercing question of his son brings father back to reality
His love for his only begotten son cannot be greater
But he knows the promise to be a guarantee
Therefore this task must have a salvific layer
God is faithful my son, He is going to provide for us
We need to abide and in Him trust
And they walked on…
