There is a war going outside
A struggle for many lives
Many in it have died
The congo and night of long knives
The economy is the usual target
Paris versus France
But it’s beyond market
Ask for my religious stance
The enemy is rarely physical
But we all know who they are
And if you try to be critical
It might end with an au-revoir
So now you know you’re at war
Are you with soldiers or civilians
It’s been going for a while
Equal pay or billions
