The sea is wide and blue as a summer sky
As tempest blows afresh
The wind! Oh wind, blows high!
And see
The white winged bird afar
Soaring
See! And smell!
The the air with salt around
And the rocks and caves where the shore beasts dwell
Listen! And stand still!
The music of the waves upon the sand
And the lilting strains of the sea birds trill
The sea is live and wild in its summer storm.
Hark!
The tempest ceases,
And slowly, slowly the wind will die.
